The Missing Peace

The Missing Peace Addiction Recovery meeting Fridays 7pm.

What We're About: We are a Christ centered group committed to recovery, restoration, and discipleship through the process of God’s word, prayer, and healthy fellowship.

Having experienced a rock bottom in our own addictions, we came to understand that we could not get or stay clean on our own. Yearning to be freed from the powerful bondage of our addictions, we sought help from the one who claimed to be able to give us freedom from our sins, God’s son Jesus Christ. After experiencing a relationship with Jesus, it was evident that he was the missing piece all along.

The result of this action was not a perfect person, not a sinless mind, but rather a heart change that has affected our desires in such a way that now we choose a life of right living over a life of sin and addiction. A life that was once dominated by self-seeking, destructive behavior has been transformed into a God-centered, healthy life-style, fueled by the power of God’s word, prayer and healthy fellowship.

What We Believe We believe that addiction is a sin, plain and simple. Through the truth of God’s word, we know that Jesus died for us on the cross, defeating the power of our sins once and for all. By trusting in Him and His will for our lives, we have discovered who we really are and who we truly can be. We believe that because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, we are no longer bound by the terrible chains of our addictions, but we are now set free and have peace.

Centers for Addiction Recovery Calvary Chapel affiliated addiction centers are residential discipleship recovery centers.
